Rachel Carson Was born in 27,May 1907 at Spring-dale, Pennsylvania. She studied marine biology and zoology, she worked for the U.S. Bureau of Fisheries as a writer and bureaucrat, while at the same time writing popular science articles for magazines. Her first book was published in 1941 about the under the Sea-Wind. Later, she concentrated in indiscriminate use of pesticides which was known as silent spring which came out in 1962. The book set off a national controversy in the U.S. and gave new life to the conservationist movement.
This book was one of the best book that you will ever find about because it is very easy to understand, the author is in neutral side instead of only one side and lastly, it relates to the topic very well.
